Woman punched while unloading her car – Moreton Hall

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a woman was assaulted in Bury St Edmunds.
 
The incident occurred shortly after 12.10pm today, Wednesday 27 May, in Worcester Close.
 
The victim – a woman aged in her 50s – was unloading her car when she saw an unknown male walking towards her. He then punched her in the shoulder, causing her to fall and graze her elbow. Nothing was stolen.
 
The male then ran off in the direction of Appledown Drive.
 
Another male, who was seen near the suspect, also ran off in a different direction.
 
The male suspect is described as white, approximately aged in his 50s, 6ft and of large build. He was wearing a grey woolly hat, a navy jacket/coat and dark shorts.
 
The other male is described as white with black hair. He was wearing a grey tracksuit top, grey tracksuit bottom and black and white trainers.
