Two men plead guilty to starting Cycle King fire whilst trying to set alight to a mouse

Two men have pleaded guilty to arson after a court heard how they were trying to cremate a mouse which lead to the devastating cycle king fire.

Dysney Sibbons 23 from Stowmarket and Ashley Finley 25 from Elmswell told the court they were “trying to amuse themselves on a boring day” when they used an accelerant to burn the rodent.

The pair had previous pleaded their innocence but yesterday told the court they were “guilty but reckless”.

The judge called their actions “sheer stupidy” and adjourned the case until June.
