Serious A14 collision involving a pedestrian and a number of vehicles at Woolpit

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision on the A14 at Woolpit.

Police were called at just after 5.00am this morning, Saturday 10 August, to reports of a collision on the westbound A14 at Woolpit involving a pedestrian and a number of vehicles.

 

Officers remain at the scene and the westbound carriageway of the A14 between junction 51 (A140 Beacon Hill) and junction 47 (Woolpit) is closed and expected to remain shut for several hours. Diversions have been put in place but motorists are being asked to use another route if possible.
