Police stop car with more passengers than seats in Bury St Edmunds

Police have stopped a car carrying more people than seats in Bury St Edmunds.

Officers from the Roads and Armed Policing unit spotted the car yesterday, Thursday 2nd July, travelling on the A14 Eastbound and stopped it. They found that four people were in the rear of the car and two people were in the boot.

The driver was issued with six tickets, including for not wearing a seatbelt and for carrying passengers in a manner likely to cause danger or injury.
