Police hunt for blue car following a fail to stop collision in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fail to stop collision in Bury St Edmunds in which two vehicles were damaged.

 

The incident took place on Sunday 21 April at around 1.30pm outside a Tesco Express shop on Stamford Court, Horringer Road in the town. A person driving was is thought to be a blue car collided with two parked vehicles, a Vauxhall Zafira and a Nissan Qashqai, and then drove off. Nobody was in either of the parked cars and no injuries have been reported.

 

Officers understand that a witness did come forward at the time and give some details to a shop worker but did not leave their contact details. Police would ask if this person or anybody else who witnessed the incident to contact PC Lisa Yorke on 101 or  01284 774086.
