Police find 3 school buses out of 12 free of faults

Suffolk police and the Driver Vehicle Standards agency carried out a school bus check at Thurston Community College.

12 buses were inspected by the DVSA and drivers checked by Police. Only 3 buses left clear of faults with 2 delayed prohibitions issued and 20 advisory notices.

Elsewhere, 2 Drivers have been arrested after they both failed drug wipes.

The first was a 31 year old female on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds. She was arrested after testing positive for Cocaine.

The second one was a 47-year-old male in Mildenhall who was positive for Cannabis
