Police and Crime Commissioner Tim Passmore made an appearance on the breakfast show this morning.

He reassured residents in Bury that the antisocial behaviour particularly on Moreton Hall will be dealt with and a meeting with residents to address their concerns will take place. Taking responsiblility for seeking regular updates for the Chief Constable Gareth Wilson, he accepted that the level of bad behaviour by people driving erratically and letting off fireworks in to the small hours of the morning was not somethingthat should be tolerated. He also acknowledge that the waiting time for the forces 101 non emergency number across Suffolk also needs to be addressed, adding that should he not get the correct response from the company that have been tasked with updating telephone equipment then he will be looking else where.
