Planning permission submitted for new Howard Estate post office as well as cafe and vegan grocers

The Howard Estate could see the return of it’s post office as well as a vegan grocers and café.

A planning application has been submitted to St Edmundsbury Borough Council to change the use of number 6 St Olaves Precinct.

Residents on the Howard Estate lost their post office after it shut down in 2017. It has since been turned in a Papa Johns take away

Speaking on Facebook Cllr Paul Hopfensperger said ” I am delighted to announce that Alison has now submitted the planning application for the new Post Office with Vegan Grocers and Cafe for number 6 St Olaves Precinct!
