UPDATE – Missing Person – BSE found

A missing 23-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds has been found.

James Williamson – known as Jimmy – had last been seen at 9.45pm yesterday, Thursday 8 February.

He was found safely by police in the vicinity of the B1106 near Elveden this morning, Friday 9 February.

Officers would like to thank members of the public and media for their assistance with this appeal.

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 23-year-old man from Bury St Edmunds. James Williamson was last seen in Bury at 9.45pm on Thursday 8th February 2018.  James is also known by the name `Jimmy’.

He is described as a white male, with short blondish hair and a full short beard.  He is believed to be wearing blue jeans, black shoes, long parker coat with fur lined hood.  James may have a tent somewhere in the Thetford Forest.

Officers are concerned for James welfare and are asking anyone who has seen James or his tent, or who has any information on where he may be to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting CAD 364 of 8th February 2018.
