Matt has worked in radio for over eight years. Having worked in Community, Local and Commercial radio stations, he has a vast experience in all manner of broadcast fields including station engineering, production, music scheduling and most of all… presenting.
He started his radio journey as a production assistant at his local commercial radio station, Star Radio in Cambridge. While working there he attended Cambridge Regional College where he ran the student radio station, Flava FM as part of the National Diploma in Radio Broadcasting he was studying at the time. After achieving two Distinctions and a Merit in his final grades (the highest in his group) he left to join Cambridge’s Community Radio Station 209radio where he presented various shows and was involved in various day-to-day duties of the station.
Since then he’s been involved with Affinity Radio in Cambridge as Station Engineer and lunchtime presenter.
