Man in his 40s dies following collision A14 collision

Police can confirm that a man has died following a serious collision on the A14, near Bury St Edmunds.

The incident occurred at approximately 5.50pm on Tuesday 19 March, on the westbound carriageway of the A14 near Junction 43, between a lorry and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was taken by air ambulance to Addenbrookes Hospital but sadly died of his injuries yesterday, Thursday 4 April.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the collision with dash-cam footage should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team quoting CAD 266 of 19 March.
