Police name motorcyclist who died in Woolpit collision

Police are now able to name a motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision in Woolpit near Borley Green.

Officers were called on Friday 9 August, at around 1:15pm to reports of a collision between a Volvo XC60 car and a Yamaha YZF motorbike on an un-named road, at the junction of Warren Lane, north of Borley Green.

The motorcyclist was sadly declared dead at the scene.

Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, the deceased has been identified as Paul Siely, aged 54 years from Stowmarket.

Anyone who witnessed or has any information about this incident is asked to contact the Serious Collision Team at Suffolk Police quoting reference CAD 213 of 9 August.
