A B2 Stealth bomber plane was spotted over Bury St Edmunds yesterday evening.

The American built aircraft are a rare sight in the skies as on 21 were built.

It has been revealed that the aircraft has been been training alongside F-35 Lightning stealth fighters, based at RAF Marham as well as being refuelled in the air by four flying tankers from RAF Mildenhall.

There are currently two B2 bombers in the UK based at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire as part of their continuing mission.
