A Bury St Edmunds man who was arrested as part of the Extinction Rebellion protests has been named.

Robert Possnet has been charged by the Metropolitan Police, but Scotland Yard were unable to say what he has been charged for.

More than 70 people have so far been charged in relation to the protests in the capital.

It’s expected that Mr Possnet will appear at West Minster Magistrates court sometime in May.
