Meg Burrows is a singer-songwriter from Suffolk who likes to write songs in the kitchen. Playing originals and covers, her music is best described as an acoustic postcard of soulful, folk, blues inspired music. Highlights have included snug community gigs in living rooms, Summer Weddings and the brilliant Folk East Festival 2014/2015/2016 where she also performs her poetry. This year at Folk East she sang as part of the late night ‘unplugged’ sessions on the Soapbox stage. Meg likes to collaborate with local musicians (there are so many creative talented folk in Suffolk) and loves playing alongside them – whenever she can, she has the help of brilliant ‘Suffolk music sister’ Lucy Sampson & Jon Hart (Honey & The Bear) and her brilliant percussionist/guitarist Jordan Hay.
